At Italiana Lame we mainly deal with Doctor Blades for printing,
flexography and rotogravure, and Creping Blades for the production of Tissue paper.

We develop and manufacture:
Doctor Blades for the cleaning of flexographic printing Anilox Rolls, in carbon steels, stainless steels and special long life steels;
Doctor Blades for the cleaning of rotogravure printing chrome-plated Cylinders, in carbon steels, stainless steels and special long life steels;
Polyester and polyethylene Doctor Blades for ink storage in Flexo doctor blade chambers and Anilox rolls cleaning for the corrugated board printing sector;
Steel Doctor Blades with special surface coatings for long lasting high quality gravure and Flexo printing.
Each type of doctor blade has different patterns of edge grinding, depending on the printing settings and parameters.

Sealers for Flexo doctor blade chambers, custom-shaped, with synthetic or specific materials for a long lifespan in the machine.
Creping Blades
We produce steel Creping Blades with a ground ceramic coated edge in different shapes for specific machine requirements, especially for long-term use.
We produce various types of coatings with different compositions, treatments and physical and mechanical resistance.
Creping Blades for single use and Creping Blades for multiple re-sharpening/refurbishing.
Refurbishing of used coated creping blades: we give a new life to your used creping blades.
How we make our products
We import raw steel strip from Northern Europe and do quality checks on the raw material.
We then carry out in-house processing with specific grinding and quality control on the finished product.

We obtained our first ISO 9001 certificate of approval in February 1998 and we still monitor our production process under the supervision of a prestigious certification body.
